This is our 12th New Year's Eve Waltz Ball. Always fun, always a great way to bring in the new year

We will have a mix of waltzes, polkas, Congress of Vienna, mixers,
a couple of set dances, some latin and swing. A New Year's Eve countdown, singalong, and post New Year's Eve dance until 12:30 am

No partner necessary for the Ball. A tradition at our New Year's Eve Waltz ball is that many people arrive as singles and dance with others

Formal, elegant, evening wear is very much appreciated at the Ball, but not necessary.
Tom Hill is teaching introductory rotary waltz class from 7pm to 8:30 pm. No partner necessary. We rotate rapidly in class

Lots of delightful refreshments: a large spread of many cakes, pies, ice cream, cookies, shrimp platter, cold cuts platter, veggie platter, fresh fruits, chocolate.

There is plenty of parking within 1 block of the International House. As the students have left for winter break
, there are many open street parking spaces on Piedmont and also on Bancroft.
A very large parking structure, the Bancroft Parking lot, is about 100 yards down the street on
Bancoft between College Avenue and Bowditch. The lot closes at 2am.
